We have 17 high standard cabins in six different sizes. All cabins have one or two bed rooms, kitchen, private bath room and living room. All cabins have terrace in the front with furniture and view towards the fjord. Bed linen/towels and the end cleaning is included in the price. WiFi.

Camping

Peaceful and quiet camping ground close to the fjord with many guests coming back year after year. The best location in Geiranger: With panorama view both to the south, to the small village of Geiranger, and to the north, to the Geiranger fjord with its steep mountains and many waterfalls. Place for 42 camping cars/tents/caravans (39 with electricity). Showers, toilets, kitchen, washing machine/tumble drier. Place for private boats by the pier, fishing is free. Motorboats for hire. Dogs are allowed sa long as you keep it in a line and they are quiet. Playing ground for the children. Internet (WLAN) is free. Important: We don't take any reservations on the camp site. Only drop-in.

Hikes and boat hire

If you want to go fishing, or just want to take a trip on the Geiranger fjord on your own, we have motor boats for hire. Discover some of Norways most famous waterfalls: The Seven Sisters, Friaren and Brudesløret waterfalls. We also rent fishing eqipment. The boats are all easy to drive and you don't need any driving licence. Instructions will be given. Gasoline and life wests are included in the price. You can reant a boat from 9 AM until 8 PM (high season). 10 AM to 8 PM (low season). Important: We don't take pre bookings for the boats. Please just come and ask in the reception.

Geirangerfjorden Feriesenter is situated close to the Geiranger fjord, in quiet surroundings only 2 km from the Geiranger center. We can offer you high standard cabins in six different sizes, a camping site and motor boats for hire. There is a laundry with washing machine and drier on the site. There is also a playing ground for the kids. Geirangerfjorden Feriesenter is the perfect spot if you want to be active: The famous waterfalls The Seven Sisters, Brudesløret and Friaren are only a 15 minute boat ride away. Motor boats can be rented in the reception. The boats are easy to drive. You don´t need any license. Geiranger is a perfect place for walking. There are many beautiful paths along the fjord and in the mountain side. Just ask for a map in the reception. We will special recommend the path to the Storseterfossen waterfall where it is possible to walk behind the waterfall. We will also recommend the view from Flydalsjuvet, Ørnesvingen og Dalsnibba. I am coming by car from Oslo. What is the fastest way to get to Geiranger?

The fastest way to get to Geiranger from Oslo is to go by the E6 to Hamar, Lillehammer and Otta. After 17. - 31. May (when the mountain pass is open): From Otta, follow Rv15 to Vågå, Lom and Langevatn. By Langevatn, then turn left on the Rv63 to Geiranger. Before 17. - 31. May: Despite what your navigation tells you, the mountain pass from Langevatn to Geiranger is still closed. Therefore: Keep on driving on the E6 to Dombås. then turn left on the E136 and go to Åndalsnes and Sjøholt. By Sjøholt, turn left on the Rv63 and go to Linge. Take the ferry to Eidsdal (duration: about 10 minutes). When you get off the ferry, take road 63 towards Geiranger.

I am coming by car from Bergen. What is the fastest way to get to Geiranger?

The fastest way to get to Geiranger from Bergen is to go by the E39 to Førde and Byrkjelo, then take Rv15 to Stryn. After 17. - 31. May: Follow road 15 to Langevatn, then turn left on the Rv63 to Geiranger. Before 17. - 31. May: Despite what your navigation tells you, the mountain road from Langevatn to Geiranger is still closed. Therefore: In Stryn, turn left and take the Rv60 to Stranda. Take the ferry to Geiranger.

I am coming by car from Ålesund. What is the fastest way to get to Geiranger?

The fastest way from Ålesund to Geiranger is to go by road E39 to Sjøholt, then turn right on the Fv63 and drive to Linge. Take the ferry to Eidsdal (duration: about 10 minutes). When you get off the ferry, take road 63 towards Geiranger. We are located located at the bottom of the «Eagle road», on the right hand side of the road, 2km before you get to the center of Geiranger. The ferry leaves quite frequent. The last one is around 23:00.

I am arriving Ålesund by plane. Can I get to Geiranger by bus?

There are busses going from Ålesund to Geiranger about three times a day in the high season. You take the bus from the airport to Moa (the big shopping center in Ålesund). From Moa you take the bus to Linge, then there is a ferry (duration: 10 minutes) to Eidsdal. From Eidsdal, take the bus to Geiranger. Remember to ask the bus driver to stop at our place. We are situated 2 km before the center of Geiranger. In the low season (April, May, September and October) we recommend you to hire a car instead.

I am arriving Geiranger by ferry from Hellesylt. How do I get to the Feriesenter from the port?

We are situated about 2 km from the port. Please see the map for more details.

Is there a grocery store? When is it open?

There is a grocery store in the center of Geiranger. Distance: about 2 km. In June, July and August, it is open from 9 AM until 8 PM. In May and September: 9 AM - 6 PM. In April and October: 9 AM - 5 PM.

What about parking?

You can park close to your cabin. Parking is free.

Do you have charging for EV (electrical vehicles)?

Yes, it is possible to charge EVs by the reception (16A). You can order charging together with the cabin, or just ask in the reception when you want to charge. It is not allowed to charge by the cabins or on the camping, but the Premium cabins have charging a point by the cabin.
