We have 17 high standard cabins in six different sizes. All cabins have one or two bedrooms, a kitchen, a private bathroom and a living room, as well as a furnished veranda in front of the cabin. All cabins have a good WiFi connection. Bedlinen, towels and the end cleaning are included in the price.

Where to find us?

Geirangerfjorden Feriesenter is located right next to the Geirangerfjord in quiet surroundings, only 2 km from the village of Geiranger. You will find our place at the foot of the Eagle Road.

Much land meant much grass and the grass was harvested using a scythe and transported back to the farm either by boat or by using a zip line.It was the 7th generation on the farm Monrad and Anna Grande that started with tourism.

Geirangerfjorden Feriesenter is located right next to the Geirangerfjord, only 2 km from the village of Geiranger. We have 17 high standard cabins in six different sizes, a campsite and motorboats for hire. You will find a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer at our campsite. We also have a playground for children. Geirangerfjorden Feriesenter is the perfect accommodation if you want to spend some time in quiet surroundings, but it is also a nice place if you rather want to make great experiences. The famous waterfalls The Seven Sisters, The Bridal Veil and The Suiter are only a 15 minutes boat ride away from our Feriesenter.

I am coming by car from Oslo. What is the fastest way to get to Geiranger?

The fastest way is to drive on the E6 to Hamar, Lillehammer and Otta.

After 17. - 31. May (when the mountain pass is open): From Otta you follow Rv15 to Vågå, Lom and Langevatn. You turn right at Langevatn and continue driving the Fv63 towards Geiranger.

Before 17. - 31. May (Despite what your navigation tells you, the mountain pass from Langevatn to Geiranger is still closed due to a lot of snow): Keep on driving on the E6 to Dombås. In Dombås you turn left on the E136 and go towards Åndalsnes and Sjøholt. In Sjøholt you have to turn left on the Fv650 and drive to Linge. In Linge you have to take the ferry to Eidsdal (10 minutes). When you get off the ferry you follow Fv63 all the way to Geiranger. The ferry from Linge departs quite frequently. The last ferry is leaving Linge at around 23:00.

I am coming by car from Bergen. What is the fastest way to get to Geiranger?

The fastest way is to drive on the E39 to Førde and Byrkjelo. From here you continue driving on Rv15 to Stryn.


After 17. - 31. May: Follow Rv15 to Langevatn, then turn left on the Fv63 and follow the road to Geiranger.

Before 17. - 31. May (Despite what your navigation tells you, the mountain pass from Langevatn to Geiranger is still closed due to a lot of snow): In Stryn you follow the road towards Hellesylt. From Hellesylt you can take the ferry directly to Geiranger. In low season the ferry has limited departures. Please check the timetable when planning your trip.

I am coming by car from Ålesund. What is the fastest way to get to Geiranger?

The fastest way is to drive the E39 to Sjøholt. In Sjøholt you turn right on the Fv650 and drive to Linge. In Linge you have to take the ferry to Eidsdal (10 minutes). When you get off the ferry, you just have to follow Fv63 towards Geiranger. The ferry from Linge departs quite frequently. The last ferry is leaving Linge at around 23:00.

I am arriving Ålesund by plane. Can I get to Geiranger by bus?

There are busses going from Ålesund to Geiranger about three times a day during high season. You take the bus from the airport to Moa (the biggest shopping center in Ålesund). From Moa you take a bus to Linge. In Linge you have to go on the ferry to Eidsdal (10 minutes). There will be a new bus waiting for you in Eidsdal which will take you all the way to Geiranger. Please remember to ask the bus driver to stop at our place. We are located 2 km before the village of Geiranger. During low season (April, May, September and October) the bus connections to Geiranger are rather bad. We therefore recommend you to rent a car instead.

I am arriving Geiranger by ferry from Hellesylt. How do I get to the Feriesenter from the port?

We are located about 2 km from the port, at the foot of the «Eagle Road». You can have a look on the map down below for more details.

Is there a grocery store nearby? When is it open?

Yes, there is a grocery store in the center of Geiranger, about 2 km from our Feriesenter.

Do you have Wifi?

Yes, there is free WiFi with good coverage in all of our cabins, as well as on our campsite.

Do you have charging for EV (electrical vehicles)?

Yes, it is possible to charge EVs next to the reception (16A). You have to book the EV charging together with your cabin. Our Premium Cabins are the only cabins that have a charging point right next to the cabin. Due to fire safety reasons it is not permitted to charge your EV next to our other cabins or on the camping. You will find fast chargers at the Norwegian Fjordsenter in Geiranger.

What about parking?

You can park close to your cabin. Parking is free

Do the cabins have blankets and pillows?

Yes, all our cabins have blankets and pillows. Bedlinen and towels are included in the price. You can not bring your own bedlinen.
