Hikes - walks in Geiranger

Geiranger has a wide range of short and easy hikes with beautiful and magnificent nature experiences.
Yes, in our opinion there is not anything like it! All trails are well marked and with easy to medium difficulty.
You can buy a map at reception.
For those seeking longer and more demanding hikes in the mountains, please see in the main menu.
Below are a few examples:

The Vesterås mountain
It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the Vesterås farm to this view point. Impressive view over the Geiranger fjord and the centre of Geiranger.

Løsta

In my opinion one of the finest short hikes in Geiranger. From the Vesterås farm it takes about 35 minutes to walk in easy terrain up to the viewpoint on Løsta.
A fantastic view of the Geiranger Fjord.

 Storseterfossen waterfall
About 50 minutes to walk from the Vesterås farm. You can walk under the impressive Storseterfossen waterfall.

Skageflå

A visit to Skageflå farm is not only a big nature experience, but does also a big impression when you think about that people really lived on this farm only one hundred years ago. It is two different possibilities to get to here: We have our own taxi boat for the purpose (look for more information on the main page). A walk from the fjord up to Skageflå takes about 25 minuttes. Or you can walk over the mountain from Homlong. This walk will take about 2 hours one way.
